When those we rely on to protect us, rescue us, and save our homes and communities make the ultimate sacrifice—losing their lives in the line of duty—their families are left to carry an unimaginable burden. Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, Brothers, Sons, daughters, and spouses face not only the emotional devastation of losing a loved one but also the lasting financial and practical challenges that follow.

This is the moment when we, as a community, must step up. These brave first responders put their lives on the line for us, and now it’s our turn to be their safety net—a bridge over troubled waters.

At Project Unity USA, we are committed to providing financial support to as many of these families as possible. The effects of their loss are profound and enduring, and with your help, we can make a real difference in their lives.

We are proud to host this high-energy, family-friendly event and invite you to join us for an unforgettable day celebrating the most iconic cars on the planet—the Chevrolet Corvette. Bring your family and friends to enjoy the excitement while supporting a cause that truly matters.

Together, we can honor the sacrifice of these heroes and uplift their families when they need it most.

Facts about our fallen first responders on the east coast

As of January 3, 2025, comprehensive data on first responder line-of-duty deaths for the entire year of 2024 is not yet fully available. However, based on preliminary reports and available information, we can provide some insights into the fatalities among law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel on the East Coast of the United States for 2024.
Law Enforcement Officers:
  • The Officer Down Memorial Page (ODMP) lists law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. While a complete list for 2024 is pending, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) reported a 15% increase in law enforcement fatalities nationwide during the first half of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.
    NLEOMF

  • The FBI reported that, from January through August 2024, 47 law enforcement officers were feloniously killed in the United States, representing a 6.8% increase compared to the same period in 2023. The Southern region, which includes several East Coast states, accounted for 37 total law enforcement deaths (20 felonious, 17 accidental) during this period.

Firefighters:
  • The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) tracks on-duty firefighter fatalities. As of now, detailed statistics for 2024 are not fully compiled. However, the USFA provides updated information on firefighter fatalities, which can be accessed through their official platform.

EMS Personnel:
  • Specific data on EMS personnel fatalities for 2024 is limited at this time. Historically, EMS line-of-duty deaths have been less frequently documented compared to law enforcement and firefighting professions. For instance, the 27th annual Virginia Fallen Firefighters & Emergency Medical Services Memorial Service was held on June 1, 2024, honoring fallen EMS personnel in Virginia.
